There are many wild seals and sea lions in La Jolla. They are usually found sunning themselves and you'll know when they're close because you'll likely smell them before you see them. They're used to humans, but don't too close!

There is a nine hole par 3 golf course at the hotel. Bring your clubs and enjoy.

You can surf at many places in San Diego. There are a few great breaks in front of the hotel and up the beach towards the pier. If you need some more recommendations on where to surf let us know. There are rental shops all over and we recommend getting a wet suit regardless of the air temp. The water can be quite cold.

There are many pickle ball courts inside the property of the hotel.
